The United States is currently experiencing a massive shortage of blood caused by thousands of blood drives being canceled due to school and other organizational closures related to the COVID-19 outbreak. With this information, we feel like it's important to help where we can. To assist in this time of need, we've partnered with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan to facilitate blood drives.

The Twelve Baskets mission is to lead the fight against hunger in the Portage, Schoolcraft, Three Rivers and Vicksburg, MI communities by bridging the gap between the need and excess, while restoring hope, dignity, and self-respect to all whom they serve.

PowerUp is a weekend backpack program committed to feeding hungry children in the public schools of the Kalamazoo region. This ministry serves children who participate in their schools' free and reduced lunch programs by packing, delivering and sending them home with meals that they can easily prepare for themselves.

Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes got its start in several downtown Kalamazoo congregations in the early 1980’s. A group of individuals recognized that their neighbors were struggling to put food on the table so they took up the charge to fill the food gap. What they didn’t know at the time is that their initiative to lend a hand would have a profound impact on our community. Today, those efforts have grown into an organization that provides an average of 700 people with groceries each day.
