Sunday Mornings with Kids
6 weeks–5th Grade
Radiant Kids is available every Sunday morning at our Richland and Portage locations.
Check-in opens 30 minutes before service, and classrooms open 15 minutes before service starts.
Safety & Check-In
Your child’s safety is our top priority.
We use a secure check-in system with matching parent and child pick-up tags. Each tag shows your child’s classroom and a unique security code. A matching pick-up tag is required for your child to be released. All Radiant Kids volunteers are background-checked, fully trained, and always serve alongside another approved volunteer.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Age Groups
6 Weeks–Crawling
Infants receive individual attention from trained volunteers by holding, talking to, and praying over each child.
Walking–2 Years
Toddlers enjoy playtime, snack, Bible stories, and worship in a safe, loving environment designed to create joyful early faith experiences.
3 years–Pre-K
Preschoolers experience play, age-appropriate biblical lessons, interactive worship, and a monthly memory verse that helps them hide God’s Word in their hearts.
Kindergarten–5th Grade
Elementary kids enjoy a fun, meaningful worship experience where they build friendships, worship God through music and prayer, learn biblical truth, and grow in their relationship with Jesus while building a strong foundation for the future.
Moms of Babies
Our Nursing Mother’s Room provides a private, quiet space where moms can care for their infants while watching the service via livestream.
Our “Hidden Gifts Room” is a sensory space within our kids ministry designed for children with special needs, offering a quiet, supportive environment where they can worship and engage without becoming overwhelmed while reflecting our church’s mission to partner with families in helping kids encounter, follow, and proclaim Jesus through compassionate, individualized support.

A child with special needs (mental, physical and development) from K-5th who would benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. Please note, this room is not intended for children who struggle with behavioral issues.

Our room has a minimum of two teachers, one who leads the room the other supports the lead teacher. All of our volunteers have a heart to serve the individualized needs of kids with autism and other developmental needs.

Our volunteers are focused on an individualized approach to each child’s needs. Most often, when a child becomes overstimulated, our team is able to spend 1:1 time with him/her to regulate and engage. If we find that we aren’t able to help your child regulate, we will notify you.

We do provide snacks! Including options for children with gluten/dairy allergies.

The Hidden Gifts room has a time for Worship and a Bible lesson built into a visual schedule!
