SEEK: 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
January 7–January 28, 2026
Every January, Radiant Church sets aside twenty-one days to seek God through prayer and fasting. This January, we’re believing for a powerful move of God in our lives, our church, and our city. SEEK is not just an event—it’s a season where we gather, wait, and pray until heaven meets earth.
Each Sunday during SEEK, guest teachers will lead us deeper into God’s Presence as we fast and pray. Additionally, we’ll gather on Wednesday nights for Habitation Services—corporate times of worship and prayer. We encourage you to attend as many gatherings as possible and join us in the prayer room as we continue to seek the Lord together.
SEEK is designed for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand-new to Radiant, participate every year, are single, or are married with kids. SEEK is for everyone, and we want you to be a part of it!
SEEK Booklet
We’ve created a booklet to guide you through this SEEK season, complete with daily devotionals, prayer focuses, Scripture readings, our full prayer meeting schedule, and more. Parents will also find weekly family prompts and activities to engage in together. Pick up your free copy at any SEEK Habitation Night or daily prayer meeting.
May God meet you powerfully as you SEEK Him over these next twenty-one days!
SEEK Habitation Nights
Each Wednesday, we’ll gather for SEEK Habitation Nights featuring special guest speakers and Spirit-filled worship. These gatherings are an opportunity to encounter His Presence corporately through worship and teaching as we pursue Him together. You won’t want to miss it!
Radiant Kids will be open for children six weeks through fifth grade, and dinner will be provided for them. Radiant Students will attend together in the sanctuary, with reserved sections designated for seating and worship.
Daily Prayer Meetings
Monday–Thursday: 7AM + 12PM + 7PM (No Wednesday 7 PM)
Saturday Morning: 10AM – Family Prayer (Kid-Focused)
Prayer meetings are held at the Radiant City Center (210 Farmers Alley, Kalamazoo, MI). Doorkeepers will be stationed at the Farmers Alley entrance fifteen minutes before and after the start time to welcome guests into the Prayer Room.
Every Saturday morning, we’ll host a family-centered prayer meeting. While childcare will not be provided, families are encouraged to attend and pray together.
To dive deeper, arrive early on Sunday mornings to join us for pre-service prayer.
What is God Asking of You?
This SEEK, we invite you to slow down, prepare your heart, and ask God what He desires for you over these twenty-one days. Whether He calls you to fast in a new way, release familiar comforts, or meet with Him in the quiet hours of morning and night, we believe that God is going to release fresh oil.
Once you hear from the Lord and gain clarity about what SEEK should look like for you, we encourage you to write it down and share it with your community. Making your vision known to your Radiant Group, family, or friends is a powerful way to testify to what God is doing in your life and build accountability.
4 Ways to Engage During SEEK
1. Choose a Fast
Fasting is an invitation from the Lord to engage with Him in a heightened way. There is no right or wrong way to fast, and various types of fasts are available:
Water fast: Abstaining from all forms of food and drink other than water
Juice fast: Abstaining from solid food and drinking only juice and water
Daniel fast: Eating only vegetables and abstaining from meats, sweets, etc.
Selective meal fast: Abstaining from certain meals and snacks throughout the day and eating a reduced amount during a single designated mealtime
Whatever type of fast you choose, pray about what God is leading you to do, consult a doctor, and educate yourself if you have health concerns.
2. Remove a Comfort
We encourage you to set aside some of the comforts that consume your time and spend that time seeking God’s face. Examples include:
Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
Entertainment (movies, TV, YouTube)
Shopping for material items (instead, choose to donate or give to the poor)
3. Attend SEEK Habitation Nights
Each Wednesday, we’ll gather for SEEK Habitation Nights featuring special guest speakers and Spirit-filled worship. These gatherings are an opportunity to encounter His Presence corporately through worship and teaching as we pursue Him together.
4. Pray and Intercede
Scripture teaches us that something unique and powerful happens when believers gather in faith to seek God and cry out with one voice. Ways to engage include:
Attend at least one prayer meeting per week
Arrive early on Sunday mornings for extended prayer before service
Intentionally devote time to intercession at home
